Gunners back on top... United held by Spurs!

Arsenal put an end to Manchester City's unbeaten run at home this season by taming them at the City of Manchester stadium and clinching all 3 points in the process. Adebayor scored the first in the 10th minute after an impressive run by Sagna who handed Ade a simple pass in the keepers' box which was gleefully converted by the in form Emmanual Adebayor with considerable ease. This lead was doubled in the 26th minute after a stylish finish by Eduardo, who has scored a few stunners this season. By now, the Citizens looked completely off it. They however gained life when Fernandes Gelson got one back for City due to sloppy work for Clichy at the back in the 27th minute. After the end of the first half... stats proved how dominant Arsenal were. The Gunners had 62% of the ball.

The second half was no different. Ericsson brought in Vassell and Mpenza to no effect. To make matters worse for him, Adebayor netted the third 2 minutes before the end, summing up a comprehensive win for his side.
