Sunday, 3rd Feb,08:- Fulham came from behind to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Craven cottage.The first half was well fought with both teams not managing to keep most of the possession. The deadlock was finally broken with an own goal in the 69th minute from Hughes which left Craven cottage silent.
Fulham however, had a lot of fight left...Davies converted a cross by Bullard in the 73th minute to level the scores. The match clincher was provided by Bullard with a superlative free kick 4 minutes before time to secure the 3rd win of the season for his team.
Newcastle 1-1 Boro
Huth's header in the closing stages of the match forced Newcastle to share points with Boro after Owen scored his first for the Magpies under Keegan in the 60th minute. There were a few controversies, but in the end the result is what matters and one can safely say that Boro deserved a point after putting up a brave show in the second half.
